Last night was the first night since the rain that the frogs have been quiet (not heard in the evening, around 11pm, or 6.45am). They've been clicking away every night since the rain, gradually slowing down. There has been one possible rain event come through since the 11th but it only held 1mm. Nights have been cooler, days definitely getting shorter. It hasn't been especially wet - would be very interesting to know exactly what it is that makes them stop calling.
