The tadpoles rescued from the dam are growing legs - the larger ones have clearly visible 'knees' now and make little kicking movements as they swim around. In these photos they are feeding on slime that was growing around roots of the Poa (?) grass. Now that the water level has dropped a bit it's obvious that this was growing hydroponically (roots straight into the water).
