Flexible farming systems to meet the challenges of farming the southern Mallee and northern Wimmera |
 |
|
The Flexible Farming Systems project home page:
The aim of the Flexible Farming Systems project is to help farmers in the southern
Mallee and northern Wimmera regions cope with change in all its different forms.
The project raises farmer awareness and increases skills in newer techniques for
the region, while delivering good quality information on benefits and problems.
Whatever climate change, price change
or any other sort of change throws up in future, flexible farmers equipped with
an array of techniques should be better prepared to take full advantage and minimize
any costs.
This site includes
Results from the project,
open for comment, and aims to
provide access to data from the paddocks used in the project, particularly for our focus farmers and the BCG systems trial
champions, but also for farmers in the target area and
anyone else who's interested.
